2026 Touch A Truck

Touch A Truck in Panama and Van Buren in 2026

Touch-A-Truck Rolls into Panama on June 10 and Van Buren High School on June 17

The United Way of Fort Smith Area is excited to host its Annual Touch-A-Truck on June 10 at the OG&E River Valley Power Plant, located at 22042 AES Rd in Panama, OK, and on June 17th at Van Buren High School, located at 2001 E Pointer Trail in Van Buren, AR.  This is our 3rd year partnering with OG&E in Panama and our 10th year at Van Buren High School in Van Buren. Touch A Truck is a fun, family-friendly event that brings our community together for a hands-on experience like no other.

Children (and adults!) will have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of vehicles up close — from emergency response units and construction equipment to service trucks and specialty vehicles. This interactive event allows families to meet the men and women who operate these vehicles, learn how they serve our community, and enjoy a day filled with discovery and excitement. A hot dog lunch will be provided at both events by Arvest Bank

Touch-A-Truck is more than just a fun outing — it’s an opportunity to connect families to United Way’s mission and highlight the partnerships that help strengthen our community.

Together, we’re building stronger communities — because United Is The Way.
