The United Way of Fort Smith Area (UWFSA) announces the promotion of Carrie Terry to the position of Resource Development Director. She will be filling the role Shea Foldvary vacated when he accepted the position of President and CEO of UWFSA. In her new role, she will develop and execute annual workplace fund-raising campaigns while cultivating and managing ongoing relationships with current and prospective donors.
Shea Foldvary, UWFSA President and CEO, said, “I am excited for Carrie’s promotion as the new Resource Development Director for United Way of Fort Smith Area. Carrie’s passion and commitment to serving individuals and families across our six-county community in Western Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma have been evident throughout her tenure at United Way. She is an asset to the United Way team, and I am looking forward to seeing Carrie’s continued success in her new position.”

Carrie graduated from the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and a Certificate in Workforce Leadership. She is a graduate of Leadership Crawford County and the Van Buren Citizens Police Academy. Carrie is the proud mother of four children, Elizabeth, Carolina, Jackson, and Annabelle. They reside in Crawford County and are active in basketball, football, dance, and cheerleading.
