3rd Annual United Way Classic
The 3rd annual United Way Classic, presented by Cherokee Casino and Hotel Roland & Legends Resort & Casino Arkansas, will be held June 6th – 11th, 2022, at Hardscrabble Country Club in Fort Smith. The tournament will feature over 140 PGA hopefuls as they compete for the grand prize of $25,000. United Way was selected and given an opportunity to host the All Pro Tour (APT) beginning in 2020. Since then, the United Way Classic has raised over $145,000 for local non-profit partner agencies of United Way!
In addition to the money raised for partner agencies, the estimated economic impact for Fort Smith was well over $500,000 when we add family members, caddies, and friends to the mix during the 6-day event (APT uses a 4x conversion rate when figuring the economic impact).
Monday, June 6th – Pro-Am Pairings Party and Youth Clinic

United Way of Fort Smith Area
United Way of Fort Smith Area has been serving Western Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma since 1928. We partner with 31 local non-profit agencies, ranging from youth services to programs for seniors, while working in the areas of Health, Education, Financial Stability and Crisis. For 94 years, United Way has led the community in identifying and implementing funding programs that are both preventative and reactive in the areas of health and human services across our six-county area. We work to bridge the gap between the needs of our community and the hundreds of local support services throughout our area.
In operation since 1994, the APT, a subsidiary of K&G Sports LLC., partners with local non-profits to conduct professional golf tournaments in the mid-south region of the U.S. In addition to raising thousands of dollars each year for charity, these events provide an avenue for professional golfers to hone their skills while preparing for a life on the PGA Tour.
APT has successfully graduated players to the PGA Tour. They include PGA Tour winners Mark Hensby, J.L. Lewis, Tim Herron, Cameron Beckman, Bubba Watson, and Ryan Palmer. Several former members have also earned their privileges to the PGA’s Web.com Tour; including Web.com Tour winners Scott Sterling, Ron Whittaker, Shawn Stefani, Edward Loar, and J.J. Killeen (2011 POY on the Web.com Tour).
APT currently conducts professional golf tournaments in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas.

Hardscrabble Country Club
World-class golf at Hardscrabble CC
Designed by renowned golf course architect Perry Maxwell, our course was built in 1926 on the former site of Hardscrabble Farm, a fruit orchard. The course was renovated in 1998 by Jay and Carter Morrish, updating the bunkers and greens to the modern game while preserving the layout.
Cherokee Casino and Hotel Roland
At Cherokee Casino Roland, not only have the surroundings been created with your comfort and enjoyment in mind, but the experienced dealers and staff that you’ll meet on the casino floor are the reason our casino is a favorite among locals.
When you need to pause, our rooms are a destination all in themselves. The 120-room hotel tower has every amenity you’re looking for!
Volunteers play a critical role to help conduct a smooth and successful tournament week. This APT tournament consists of four (4) rounds of golf; played June 6th -11th. We are looking for people who are familiar with the game of golf to help contribute time and energy during these tournament rounds.
