The United Way of Fort Smith Area is dedicated to improving the quality of life in the community by directing donations to where they are most needed.

When individuals donate to the United Way, they have the option to donate to the general fund or designate their contributions to specific partner agencies. This flexibility allows donors to support causes they are passionate about while still contributing to a broader community impact.

The United Way collaborates with thirty-one local agencies that address critical areas such as Healthy Communities, Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency. Each partner agency undergoes a rigorous evaluation to ensure transparency, accountability, and effectiveness in addressing community needs.
