touch a truck

The United Way of Fort Smith Area proudly hosts its annual Touch A Truck event, a FREE health and wellness event for the entire community each year in June.

Held in the parking lot of Van Buren High School and the OG&E River Valley Power Plant, this eagerly anticipated event invites families, childcare agencies, and more the opportunity to explore an exciting array of vehicles, from fire engines to construction trucks, offering a hands-on experience like no other.

Beyond the vehicle displays, the day is packed with free health and wellness activities, and information booths to promote a healthier lifestyle. Perfect for kids and adults alike, Touch A Truck provides an engaging opportunity to learn about health and safety while having fun.

Whether looking out from the cab of a massive dump truck or running your hands along the claw of a tough bulldozer, the United Way of Fort Smith Area’s Touch a Truck offers participants an exciting opportunity to connect with and learn from various community members,  military and emergency services personnel.
