Day of Caring 2016

Hundreds of volunteers will join forces April 12th to serve at agencies and organizations in our six-county service area. These volunteers will provide the manpower needed to complete projects for the organizations or agencies that they may not be able to afford to complete on their own.  Projects are available in Alma, Barling, Booneville, Charleston, Fort Smith, Greenwood, Lavaca, Mansfield, Mulberry, Ozark, Paris, Poteau and Van Buren for a total of 90 projects. WHEN and WHERE:

Kickoff Breakfast — Fort Smith

8:00 a.m. – Kickoff breakfast will be provided for volunteers at Golden Corral in Fort Smith, AR. Mayor Sandy Sanders will be joining us and sharing a Day of Caring proclamation.

Kickoff Breakfast — Booneville

7:45 a.m. – Kickoff breakfast will be provided for Logan County volunteers at Jeral L. Hampton Meeting Place in Booneville, AR. Event courtesy of First Western Bank.

Kickoff Breakfast — Ozark

7:45 a.m. – Kickoff breakfast will be provided for Franklin County volunteers will be held at the Ozark Area Youth Organization in Ozark, AR.

Recognition Lunch – Ozark

Immediately following the breakfast programs, volunteers will leave for their work sites.
