Established in 1928, the Fort Smith
Boys & Girls Club (FSBGC) serves more than 4,000 boys
and girls. With four units located conveniently in our
area, the organization has become one of the leading
youth recreation centers in the Southwest. Facilities
include:

- Goldtrap-Gardner Boys & Girls

The Club's mission is to help youth of
all backgrounds become responsible citizens and leaders.
Some program highlights of the FSBGC are:

on Me mentoring - one-on-one guidance program
similar to Big-Brothers-Big Sisters
- After-school transportation -
shuttle services from local elementary schools
- Summer Program - 40,000 free
meals served during summer
- Character & Leadership - Youth of
the Year, Torch & Keystone Clubs, Smart Girls
- Education - College Scholarship
program, Power Hour after school tutoring
- Sports - Basketball, Football,
Soccer, Baseball and Cheer Teams/ leagues for
various ages
- Health & Life Skills - Money
Matters, Triple Play (fitness for mind, body &
soul), Field trips
- Arts - Photography contests,
Essay & Poetry awards, Arts & Crafts classes, Talent
